By talking to someone who is warm, sincere, and non judgmental, a person can realize that they are able to relax, and locate that pathway to their desired place in life.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy intern with Capella University, working to complete my second master’s degree. I practice under the clinical supervision of a Maryland board approved Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor. I started my counseling career in 1999, when I graduated with an associate’s degree in human services. I’ve grown a lot since then, and have learned a lot about couples, families, and individuals. I strongly believe in the sanctity of marriage, in the power of strong family structure, and in an individual’s ability to transform. It is, and has been, for over 20 years, my desire to assist people with making positive life changing decisions, and to help them move forward with the rewarding outcomes.
I support clients from diverse backgrounds. Although I specialize with treating relationship issues, I have extensive experience with supporting clients who are struggling with other issues such as, trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, etc. I lean towards solution-focused, or narrative therapy models.
I look forward to bringing an effective mix of experience, expertise, clarity, and action to your therapeutic process, in order to maximize your outcomes, and to help you achieve genuine healing, and overall health and well-being. Call and schedule your phone consultation today. I look forward to working with you!
